SUPPORT
US
YOU can help ISAS make a difference in people’s lives! Volunteer,
and give us some of your time: further information on
our Volunteer
page.
Make a donation, either regularly or just for now, so that we
can maintain and develop our services. It doesn’t have to be
much – the cost of a coffee per week. |
ISAS 40TH BIRTHDAY
CELEBRATIONS
The highight of our celebrations in June 2010 was a visit from
Dr Mary Robinson. Dr Robinson
gave a keynote address Cherishing the Irish Diaspora, to a gathering
of more than a hundred people including local mayors, councillors,
MPs, representatives of funding bodies and affiliated organisations,
board members, staff, volunteers and beneficiaries. Dr Robinson
was presented with a painting by Thomas McCullough, who recently
donated the proceeds of an exhibition of his work to ISAS in recognition
of the charity's support for him in times of need.

WHAT WE DO
The Irish Support and Advice Service (ISAS) assists anyone
of Irish birth or descent who needs help or advice to improve
the quality of their life. We do this by organising social meetings
and excursions for pensioners, through advice services on welfare,
legal and health matters, and through home visits. ISAS helps
the Irish community in West and South London, and our services
are entirely independent and confidential.
See the What
ISAS Does page for a weekly calendar of advice surgeries
and pensioner group meetings. |
