Make a donation to ISAS

“I was sleeping rough, in an old abandoned car. Then someone I used to work with told me about ISAS. I came along, and they got me into sheltered housing. I’m OK now. ISAS got me what I needed.” Jerry, 63

ISAS NEEDS YOUR HELP

Each year ISAS has to put in numerous applications for grants in order to fund its work. Organisations which give grants are inundated with requests, and have turn down many of those they receive, however deserving and worthwhile the cause. Consequently a large part of ISAS management time is spent on fundraising. A few grants are renewed each year, but often not for the same amount, so that income is not stable.

MAKE A DONATION ONLINE

Any donation you make will help ISAS keep the service going, particularly if you can make a regular donation. You can give online using our secure donations facility on the Just Giving website.

OR SET UP A DIRECT DEBIT

A direct debit on your bank account is the most effective way to support ISAS, and need only be the equivalent of a cup of coffee each week – £5 a month; if you can afford more, then that will benefit the service. The more people like you give in this way, the more stable ISAS income will be.

OR MAKE A DONATION BY CHEQUE

If you would like to make a single donation, please send a cheque made payable to “Irish Support and Advice Service” to Irish Support and Advice Service, The Irish Cultural Centre, Blacks Road, London W6 9DT. If you need a receipt, please ask and we will send you one.

GIFT AID

Please consider "gift aiding" your donation.  If you are a UK taxpayer, you can provide ISAS with a Gift Aid declaration. The value of your donation will be increased by a quarter (at no extra cost to you) because HM Revenue & Customs allows us to claim the tax paid on your gift.

Muriel died with no known relatives. ISAS was able to trace members of the family in Ireland who had been trying to find her. This meant they were able to attend her funeral, and ISAS helped to arrange burial in her home town.
